Reducing deaths by suicide through education and support
David was a happily married, successful investment banker with two children. He was 48 when he took his own life during an acute delusionary psychotic episode.
The David Riddell Memorial CIO is established to reduce the number of people who take their own lives by educating people about suicidal ideation and informing them of ways to prevent suicide, particularly people working in the financial services sector and associated industries.
We also look to honour his life by providing support to charities that share our vision to reduce deaths by suicide.
Stop the Loss: Preventing Suicide Together
We’re delighted to announce that we are partnering with Race to Save Lives and Elephant in the Room to launch our new 'Stop the Loss' campaign, an initiative with the aim of preventing suicide through open conversation and early intervention.
